Starting with Saturday January 15, 9pm 21+ Urban Lounge... danksquad & LPM present the "Homegrown Urban Arts Show vol 2.0" feat. Scenic Byway, Greenhaus Effect, Youth In Eyes, w/ Max Payne and the Groovies. All live and local to SLC, this show will be only $5 and will feature several different local artists work on display at the show and epic live music all night.

Thursday may 27 the danksquad crew consisting of Scenic Byway, DJ Planet, DJ Roots Rawka, Toniman, Feel Good patrol and the danksquad founding fathers packed up in several different rides, whips, RV's etc and progressively left throughout the day. Destination Moab Utah or 10 miles outside of it anyways in BFE territory, down a windy sketchy dirt road and into one of the most beautiful and natural scenic venues ever created.... The backdrop consisted of towering snow capped Mtn. peaks and dusty red rocked cliffs covered with sage brush and Juniper trees.. Now add in 1,000 + hippies and 1,500+ plus other random music and party lovers + 45 epic bands from several different genres of music+ several dozen volunteers, staff, security two stages, food vendors, accessory, and apparel vendors, kids, random dogs, 50+ mph dust filled wind gusts, two stages, tons of generated power and you have your self a 4 day music festival with everything from Hip-Hop, Reggae, Rock, Blue Grass, Folk< Jam Band, Alternative Jazz, Funk, Soul, Electronic, Dubstep, spoken word and psychedelic rock... Not to mention the Sweet marry Jane and all the wonderful beer (and mind altering drugs) that were in full effect throughout the festival, crowd and all the camps!! Needless to say it was a hell of a time!

Our homie Roots Rawka put together this show bringing out Chali2na from Jurassic Five with DJ Dez , and asked us to help promote the party and have Project Cavelight from Scenic Byway open up the night along side DJ Ode one. The Night went off from the get go people were all decked out in green and some in costumes, All artists killed it and everybody had a good time. Saturday 1/23/10 was by far one of the illest shows we at danksquad-L.P.M.have produced and promoted! Chali2na of Jurassic 5 played with his live band the House of Vibe all stars feat his little brother as guest emcee. The Star bar on main street in park city played host to the perfect atmosphere for the show, with all the fresh snow and out of towners here for the film festival, people were looking to party! We did just that as the show was sold out at capacity by 11:30 and charlie had just started then he rocked it with old new and classic J5 tracks until 1:30 am! The drive back from park city at around 3 am was sketchy to say the least! 1ft of snow on 180 to slc with morons all over the road in rent a cars. having to creep at 15mph in the tour van, We barely made it back alive to blog about it!

Downtown Steamboat was the scene for the festivities.
